Sheriff Ed Townsend joined many concerned citizens to raise public awareness along with funds to help stop child abuse and domestic violence.  The event coincides with Child Abuse Prevention Month in April and all proceeds benefit Safeplace’s efforts to end child abuse and domestic violence. Sheriff Ed Townsend has participated in the walk the last several years and will continue to support the efforts and goals of Safeplace.
