Addison High School seniors observed the conclusion of a two day trial involving two men charged with attempted murder.

During the thirty minute jury deliberations Judge Bentley took questions from the students and explained in detail how our judicial system works. Students observed the reading of the verdict by Judge Bentley and were able to ask Judge Bentley, Deputy District Attorney Paige Vick and District Attorney Neal Cook more questions. Addison High School includes this field trip as a part of the government class curriculum
